The Lonely Road

Today as I was walking all alone under the starry moonlit sky on a deserted road, leading to nowhere (literally), I went back into time and tried to recall 18 years of my existence.
A rocky ride, I might add, it has been. From the naughty childhood (I might have driven my parents CRAZY with my mad stubborn irritating behaviour) till today, I haven't really changed that much. Yes, I'm as crazy and as lazy and as maddeningly rigid in my thoughts as I used to be....its just that I've exchanged those frilly frocks and pink sandals for sexy shorts and boots and throw in a pair of hot aviators too. <<wink>>

Thinking of everything said and done in all these years, it brings a slight sad nostalgic smile to my face. Its such a twisted turn of fate...new friends turning to old friends, old friends turning to close friends and BOOM. Change of place, change of people, change in environment, change in attitude a changed YOU. Change is possibly the only thing thats constant, or so I hear. Life is an ever moving vicious cyle. People come, some make a difference, some don't. What matters is what you learn from it. Fortunately for me, each person who has been a part of my life has given me a lot and possibly taken a lot form me too. Our Zindagi is not all Jhakaas...it never has been, it can never be...beyond all the projected glitz and glamour, there lies the stinging reality of it all. Nothing comes easy. Every rose has thorn and yes, this is all painfully clichéd but its undeniably true...so make the most of it!

Un nouveau départ (A New Beginning..)

Hailing from Mumbai, the classic Cutting Chai and the rain helps me in soul searching, introspecting. I was just trying to figure a few things out in my life and as I sat there, typically brooding, a friend of mine suggested blogging to me. I have always been fond of writing, the very idea was liberating. Since then I had been thinking as to what to write, what would I have liked to read...

I don't want to come across as the preacher type, giving long sermons on life and the way to live it. I'm a regular college student struggling to keep up with the fast pace of my life and I barely have time to contemplate on the various complicated issues of the future or the dreariness of the past. I just want to live my life in the moment.
Today, is what this blog is all about The perfectness of the moment, the bitter-sweet symphony of it all.

This is my first ever post, so I guess its best to keep it short...I'd just urge you skip a beat, take a minute from that ever monotonous super hectic over ambitious schedule, and love yourself. For who you are, and What you do. Think of that ONE moment today that you laughed, or smiled even...and you'll know its all worth it. It always is.
Live. Laugh. Love. Cause there's still a long way to go...
